Goodellas– Based on the real life story of mobster Henry Hill. Henry along with his mobster friends (Robert Dinero & Joe Pesci), lives a life full of sex, drugs and organized crime. Goodfellas is another one of my favorite hollywood films. This one will be listed among the greatest movies of all time.
Pulp Fiction – John Travolta and Uma Thurman. A story of four interweaving stories developing from hit men, boxers, ringleaders, and anyone else who is involved with a crime. There is a part where John and Uma are partners in a dance competition at a really awesome theme diner. It's a twist competition mainly, however they show us their stuff with steps from the swim and other cool moves.

Saving Private Ryan – Saving Private Ryan is a war movie that was released in 1998, directed and produced by Steven Spielberg. Saving Private Ryan was nominated for several Oscars and won 5 including best direction. If you ask any American men, this movie might be the greatest World War II movie of all time. Shockingly realistic depiction of the horrors of war.
Apollo 13 – Another Tom Hanks film. Tom Hanks is great as always, as is Ed Harris. It had a good storyline and I like the music and the special effects in this movie. This one captures the spirit of a nation achieving unbelievable goals as the United States sends men to circle the moon.
Titanic - Leonard DiCaprio's best work. 11 Academy Awards This picture re-creates the doomed voyage of the White Star Line's $7.5 million R.M.S Titanic when it struck an iceberg on April 15, 1912. No movie is perfect and this one has a few faults. This is truly an excellent movie.
Braveheart – The story is based on the struggles of William Wallace, a Scotsman who lead his people toward independence from the English monarchy. Mel Gibson is a natural for the leading role in this film. Who could have better personified William Wallace.
Unforgiven – Clint Eastwood - Will Munny is a reformed desperado turned farmer. He is a widowed, single father raising two children alone in rural Colorado. A young gunslinger shows up with an offer for Eastwood to join him in a bounty killing. Eastwood's character Munny is reminded of the evil deeds of his past and is going to suffer for them once again.
The Truman Show - Jim Carrey makes the discovery that his entire life is part of a tv show that is being scripted and played out by the people around him for a watching audience of billions. Most of the shots in the film mimic the camera shots of reality tv shows.
Shakespeare in Love - Shakespeare has a bad case of writer's block. He is uninspired until meeting the lovely Viola De Lesseps played by Gwenneth Paltrow. Shakespeare ditches his plan for Romeo and Ethel and commences writing Romeo and Juliet.
American Beauty - Lester is overcome with desire for a beautiful girl after seeing her perform a pom pom routine with his daughter Jane. He quits his job, begins to work out and smokes some very expensive marijuana supplied by the teenager boy next door. He buys a red Firebird he used to dream about. The boy next door uses the money he makes from selling drugs to buy video equipment and uses it to tape everything he sees.
